Three Ahmadi Muslim Youths Critically Injured — Two in Critical Condition — Attacker Escapes on Motorcycle
On the night of 5 June 2026, at approximately 9:00 PM, an unidentified terrorist on a motorcycle opened fire on a vehicle of security volunteers stationed at the intersection outside Bait-ul-Aqsa mosque, the central Ahmadi Muslim mosque at the Headquarters of the community in Rabwah. Three Ahmadi Muslim youths were critically injured as a result, two of whom remain in a critical condition.
The security volunteers’ vehicle was performing routine duties when the attacker, his head and face covered in cloth, opened fire before immediately fleeing. According to eyewitnesses, the terrorist escaped on a motorcycle. The three injured individuals have been identified as:
- Waqas Ahmed, aged 23
- Bilal Ahmed, aged 30
- Abdul Jabbar, aged 39
The injured were immediately rushed to hospital, where doctors performed emergency surgery.
This is the second terrorist attack in Rabwah within the last few months, leaving Ahmadi Muslims feeling deeply insecure. On Friday, 10 October 2025, six Ahmadi Muslims were injured in a firing incident outside the Bait-ul-Mahdi mosque in Rabwah.
The attack in Rabwah is not an isolated incident but the latest in a sustained nationwide campaign of violence against Ahmadi Muslims. Since 1984, hundreds have been murdered on grounds of faith, six in 2024 and three within a month in 2025. More than 50 mosques have been attacked or demolished since 2023, over 381 graves desecrated in 2025 alone, and more than 100 Ahmadi Muslims arrested during Ramadan 2025 simply for offering prayers.
